This reserve and visitor centre is open daily, year round, except Christmas, of course and they operate from 9 am until dusk. The entrance is free if you are going to the visitor centre and tearoom. Admission to the hides and nature trails is £4.50 for adults, £3 concessions, £1 for children, and £9 for the family. In addition, the admission is also free to RSPB members and those who come by public transport or on bike. Why not stop by on your next visit to Carnforth?

When you travel to Carnforth you must also include the South Lakes Wild Animal Park in your plans. This is a wild animal conservatory, located in Cumbria, about 20 miles from Carnforth.
